Muscle activation before training❕
?One of the main tasks of activation is to engage as many muscle fibers as possible during a specific movement. Of course, we perform it often unconsciously when we do warm-up series with little or no weight, but with a high number of repetitions. You could say that by doing so, we are traversing our movement pathways and the nervous system is stimulated so that specific muscles get a stimulus that activates them.
?Another important task of activation is a protective function. Activating the muscles responsible for stabilizing movements protects us from injury during training, and also increases confidence and control during exercise.
?Activation can also be used to unblock muscle structures that are hindering the proper execution of a movement by shortening their length. We can say that thanks to it we make it easier to perform the exercise technically correctly.
